You won’t want to miss this one!!! We have outdone ourselves!  Deep into the woods on Carlson’s Crypt’s Haunted Trail, waiting for you, is our newest addition; Clown Town. And these aren’t the kind of clowns that honk horns and eat marshmallows. These are the kind of clowns that will rip off your limbs, roast your flesh and roar deep laughter as you frantically slither into the darkness. Oh well, one more lost soul at Carlson’s Crypt. Hear my warning one and all. Don’t come alone. HE,HE,HA,HA,HA

Corn Maze, Night Maze and Spooky Woods Now Open

Posted in corn maze with tags , , , , , , , , on September 15, 2009 by Tracilda Jane

WOW!, I recently walked the maze  and it’s huge this year!!! There’s dead ends and circles that get you lost, and then there’s the maze game, It’s a riot and the corn is  so tall. We saw lots of deer tracks, some huge ones, and we even scared one out of the spooky woods.

A trip into the maze at night is the most fun you will ever have with a flashlight!!!!!! And it’s cheap fun bring 9 of your friends and it’s only $5.00. Want things to be more intimate? It’s still only $6.00 and you can go in and out as much as you want. Rest by the bon fire and go back out. Stay as long as you like.

How about you, have you been to the maze yet?

We’ll be waiting for you at Carlson’s Crypt where it’s always worth the trip.

Corn Maze Game

Posted in corn maze with tags , , , , , , on August 30, 2009 by Tracilda Jane

I have had the best time creating this corn maze game. It’s a rhyming scavenger hunt that will be fun for all ages. It can also be played at night with flashlights. I’m think your going to love it.

It’s been raining here all day and I have stayed with my computer for most of it. I live in the world of dial-up so i do most of it at a snails pace but it’s getting  slowly done.  So here is a sampling of the rhymes I created

Clue #4
There’s a special place that you must go to
Where you’ll find a cauldron of witches brew
Reach inside to the very bottom
And discover something very rotten

another one:

Clue #6
There’s a great big pumpkin which must be found
His guts have been spilled upon the ground
He wears a grin, that’s eerie, it’s true
His name is Jack and he’s looking at you

and one more:

Clue #10
Now you must look for someone stalking
He’s not too far, so let’s get walking
With his lips sewn shut he won’t be shrieking
But the whites of his eyes will have you freaking

There’s  13 of these clues, and when you find the objects hidden in the corn and the creepy woods, you answer a question about each one.  Kids get a grab bag.

New for 2009 – Creepy Woods

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , on August 3, 2009 by Tracilda Jane

You are going to love this!! We have added Creepy Woods to the Night Maze experience for 2009. What is Night Maze? It’s a huge 10 acre corn maze. After dark you can go into the corn maze with a flashlight. It’s not haunted by us but I can’t say what the real ghosts are up to nor your friends. Watch out your buddy may be waiting for you around the next corner. The creepy woods are at the back of the corn maze adding an additional 5 acres for you to explore. Perhaps you will discover a bone yard in the woods or hear the wailing that fills the air. The dark creepy woods are calling you!

There are no street lights and no sidewalks here on the farm. The sky is massive above  and the stars are to die for! Oops I wasn’t supposed to tell you that.  At Carlson’s Crypt death is only a possibility. Some of you will return home. I think it all boils down to your friends. How well do you really know them? could there be more than meets the eye after all we all have a little of  the sneeky  Devil in us somewhere. Perhaps the creepy woods will pull him out of you—Good Luck.

Night Maze and Creepy Woods is a great group activity. BRING YOUR OWN FLASLIGHT or you can rent one of ours with spooky sounds. Another activity is the Haunted Trail.
